The compulsory or voluntary nature of providing personal data
To provide you information and communications you required we need to know your e-mail address. Providing your e-mail is optional and voluntary, but not providing it could prevent SALVINI to provide the requested information. Other personal data that could be provided on the web page are merely optional and will be used to give you more information via various communication channels.
The personal data object of treatment by SALVINI are personal data in accordance with Section 4 (b) of the Italian Privacy Law. SALVINI will not collects and processes sensitive data.
Purposes of processing
With regard to your contact request sent by the form, SALVINI will treat Data exclusively to answer your request. After this activity, if you have not authorised the processing of personal data to other purposes, Data will be cancelled or made irreversibly anonymous.
Other Purposes: With your specific consent the Data that you provide will be process by SALVINI in full compliance with the security measures established by the Italian Privacy Law and by relevant safety standards, for the following purposes:
-marketing, promotional and commercial initiatives (direct and via automated tools), customer satisfaction initiatives as, for instance, price-giving operations and competitions, send of newsletter, advertisement and promotional material, business offers, gift cards, statistical and market research also through interviews and questionnaires, interactive commercial communications, direct sales;
-profiling and analysing your habits and market choices, including by monitoring electronic communications services for marketing and promotional purposes, in compliance with regulation of the Italian Privacy Authority.
-communication of your personal data to third parties for marketing, promotional and commercial purposes (including co-marketing) in the jewellery and luxury services sector, done directly or with automated instruments. Third parties will act as independent date controller and will be subject to compliance with applicable provisions governing the protection of personal data.
Communications for the purposes set out above may be sent by SALVINI using traditional methods, (e.g. by post or calls) or using automated means such as e-mail, SMS’s and MMS’s pursuant to Section 130 of Legislative Decree No. 196/2003. Communications (e.g. SMS, e-mail, post) will be send exclusively within reasonable limits and in any case you may request that such communications cease or express the intention to receive these communications only via traditional methods, where these are in place, simply sending an e-mail to: email@example.com. Methods of Data processing and use of Customer Relationship Management systems
Personal data voluntarily provided shall be collected with IT device and will be treated with paper, analog and/or digital archives that will be located in Italy and managed or directly by SALVINI as data controller or through third parties expressly delegated, also using computer systems, including “Customer Relationship Management” (CRM). CRM system is used by SALVINI to put the Customer at the centre of attention, to offer higher quality services and to improve administrative and IT management of data of Users and, if you give your consent for direct marketing purposes and for automated system marketing your Personal Data can be processed by SALVINI in CRM system and jointly coordinated with other data that SALVINI may collect in other situations (e.g. participation in events organized by SALVINI) with your prior consent. CRM shall make data visible to persons in charge of the processing designated by SALVINI who have access to them exclusively for purposes of processing. In any case, you have the right to request the total or partial cancellation of the data in the CRM system with a simple e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org, except the fulfilment of conditions and obligations as set out by law.
SALVINI takes all of physical, organizational and technological security measures useful to avoid abuse or dissemination of data to third parties. In any case, Data shall be processed by SALVINI in compliance with requirements of safety as provided by law- with particular reference to articles 31 and following of Italian Privacy Law and its annex “B”- and as provided by applicable law.
The Data shall be kept for the period of time required for the fulfilment of the purpose for which they were collected. Profiling data if collected with your specific consent will be kept within the limits provided by the Italian Privacy Authority; then they will be deleted or anonymised.
Parties who may know the data
In order to process Personal Data SALVINI shall be entitled to appoint Data Processors and Persons in charge of the processing, each of them shall be responsible for his duties and will be work under management of SALVINI, which will provide them operating instructions. Information you provided will be delivered to Data Processors appointed by SALVINI as controlling or controlled companies for the administrative accountability purposes; third parties that provide outsourcing services such as documents storage, CRM and electronic systems, advertising and business advisory. A complete and updated list of external companies is available upon request to SALVINI at the above address. In the event that the consent has given, Data may be delivered to third parties for purposes for which the Data were collected; third parties will act as independent Data Controller. Data shall be provided to third parties (e.g. public authorities; public service delegates) in compliance with the provisions of law.
Rights of Users
At any time, easily and freely, you may exercise your rights towards the Data Controller with a simple e-mail to be sent to email@example.com, according to article 7 of Italian Privacy Law. You have the right, anytime, to oppose, in whole or in part, at processing of your data, to know the existence of processing of your personal data, to obtain without excessive delay the intelligible communication of such data and their origin, purposes and methods of treatment, logic involved in any electronic processing of data, identity of data controller, data processors and persons in charge of the processing, deletion, transformation into an anonymous form or blockage of data processed unlawfully, updating, rectification or integration of data.
